The very large Downey Park is around the corner providing playgrounds, walking tracks and an off-leash area for your dog.
For your groceries, the closest shops are around on Newmarket Rd, with everything from coffee shops to specialty deli and bakery. For larger supermarkets, head over to Centro Lutwyche on Lutwyche Rd. Or indulge in a days shopping at the huge Westfield Chermside, just a few minutes further up Lutwyche Rd. Restaurants and cafes are everywhere in this vicinity.
