Picture - you sitting on the wide front verandah, looking out to see with a cool drink in hand; entertaining family and friends on the spacious covered back deck; a hot summers day cooled by sea breezes. It just fits, doesn't it.

The cottage sleeps 4 people, and is fully equipped in every way - comfortable furniture, tv/dvd/stereo, kitchen equipment and fittings just like you would have at home. We know that 4 plates are just not enough, so we supply "family sized" amounts of all crockery and cutlery.

Redcliffe Peninsula is a great place for families. Abundant beaches (the closest to Brisbane City), bbq areas and playgrounds, it also has great local shops and restaurants, and easy access to larger shopping areas at Chermside and Strathpine for more "heavy duty" shopping needs!

Suttons Beach is directly across the road from this cottage, and is one of the most popular family hangouts - a wonderful sandy beach with loads of trees for shade, playgrounds and barbeques, beachside cafe. Perfect for an evening stroll or more energetic bike riding and rollerblading.

Try sky diving, the landing spot is in the middle of the beach! And tours out to Moreton Island also leave from nearby.

Local Attractions:-
There's so much to see and do! Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo is 40 minutes drive away, with the stunning beaches of the Sunshine Cost an 80 minute drive.

To the south, the M1 Motorway is a 10 minute drive away, which gives you speedy access to all theme parks and the Gold Coast - Dreamworld, Movieworld and the famous waterpark Wet'N'Wild. It's also only 70 minutes to Surfers Paradise, where you can try the amazing "Infinity" and "Space Walker" attractions. Also just down the road is beautiful Mt Tamborine, with walks, shops, art and craft, and markets - a great day trip.
